The Discovery Program
Have you ever considered your own role in advancing humankind's conquest of the stars? Sound far-fetched? About This Podcast Series
Our podcast series will be focused on future issues that the entire public will be facing sooner rather than later. The public is rarely given perspective on “futuristic” issues like widespread pandemic, automation, and interest in space travel. Most people understand the basics of the topics, but they see little reason to believe that these issues will be relevant in their lifetimes. This series aims to ground seemingly unrealistic issues for the public. Many of the issues discussed are highly technical in nature and are difficult for even a well-educated audience to grasp. However, with specific examples and condensing, the issues seem more approachable. The podcast series will aim to describe current and future situations and explain the costs and benefits of proposed developments. It will stay informative and give the audience the opportunity to make their own informed decisions about the issues at hand.
